These are the steps that you must follow in case QuickBooks won’t open up any company files:
1.Ensure that you are using the latest version of QuickBooks.
2.Open the file with the same QuickBooks version that you last opened it with. To do so,
•Locate the company file on your system.
•Click this file to select properties.
•Select the QuickBooks tab in the Properties section.
•There will be a file containing previously used version.
3.Open the company file through QuickBooks. To do so,
•Navigate to File menu, and select Open or restore company.
•Select the appropriate button based on the type of file it is.
•Browse to where the company file is located and choose the file.
•Execute the process to place the file in the correct location.
